It’s no secret that we care a great deal about equal opportunities across all genders. We feel gender equality should be a given in 2016 and we applaud every step in the right direction. This is also why we are extremely happy to endorse a brand new creative project towards equal right all across the board. A colouring book that is to shine the spotlight on the issue at hand. It’s called, Facing gender diversity.
The woman behind this important project is gender sociologist, and wife of Mads Nørgaard, Cecilie Nørgaard. She has curated this fun and thoughtful colouring book that voices the need for gender equality in a fresh and creative way.
The colouring book will feature works from 30 prominent artists. All participating artists were asked to create their idea of a visual expression that opens for reflections on gender and diversity. The results is a wide ranging collection of clever and creative drawings that are sure to give you food for thought and fresh perspective.
Feel free to do what you want with the artwork in the colouring book. Colour them, frame them or put the book on display. As long as you fill out the blanks and contemplate about the general, important message behind the project.
The colouring book will be published on the 10th of june 2016 and is going to be available at MANGFOLD and in our store in Copenhagen. It will feature artwork from the following brilliant artists.
